Curriculum Our center uses the Creative Curriculum. We chose this curriculum because of its approach to learning. Each program is based on the philosophy that children learn best through hands-on activities that address the needs of the whole child. The curriculum comes with materials that address all aspects of development: social, emotional, cognitive, and physical. There is a mix of teacher-facilitated and child-initiated activities. Each classroom has a curriculum appropriate for their age group.
Pioneers: 0- 12 months This program stimulates the infant brain development. It promotes visual and language development.
Discoverers: 12-24 months The One year old program encourages toddlers to explore their world through exciting weekly themes.
Explorers: 24-35 months The Two year old program offers fun, hands on activities that enrich a supportive environment where toddlers explore and learn.
Adventures: 3-4 years The Three year old program provides exciting activities to help children actively learn about their world around them.
Pre-K program: 5 year olds This program will prepare your child for Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten through phonics, letter recognition, literacy development and writing their names.
School age Program Voyagers: 5- 12 years During the school year, our Voyagers do not follow a curriculum. Our caregivers are available to assist the children with their homework and to facilitate child lead activities. During the summer months of June through August, our school age children follow a summer camp program. More information on the Summer Camp will be available at a later date.
